>>> day well lived

Some days pan out perfectly. Sunday was definately one of those days.

Jessica picked me up with the top down on her wrangler, after some heavy debateing I decided to drop the homework. The day was to pretty to ignore. We grabbed some picnic gear and headed to a local garden and sat by the fountain. Images and captions like that don't tend to fade in your mind: touring trees, grounds smothered in greenery and freshly fallen shaded leaves, light bursting through tree tops at just the right brightenss, the edges seemed romantic and mystfied. Artwork.

A phone call and her brother asking us to pick him up was the only thing that pulled us from that scene. And I didn't mind much at all- he's artwork too.... As we waited for him to be completely dismissed from practice Jess made a feaux touch down and I scored the extra point- basketball style on the plush field. We did a victory dance in the end zone and celebrated as ran around like idiots until the real football players (the highschool local national league) came out looking at us like we were idiots.

Jeremy was great. The three of us hung out deciding what to do and throwing an array of balls around in my front yard until we decided on a movie. They went home and showered and then I met promptly met them at the theatre just in time to fit a few air hockey games in. As the movie started I snuggled up to Jeremy. And I looked at Jessica and through the horrible movie I was so greatful to be there with those two.

Days like that live on forever.

And having a thing for Jeremy- isn't so bad either...
