I went to visit sister. She goes to college in a small town in southern Mississippi. And my great storey is that 1/2 way there we broke down. On the side of the road. My engine had completely burned up. Emily and I waited on the side of the road for 2 and a 1/2 hours.

And so why did it happen? I took my car to dad's store to have it serviced. While servicing it they discovered they had forgotten to put some kind of oil plug on the time before and I had been leaking oil for the last 2 weeks. In addition, they discovered the person before had also stripped some kind of screw. So this time, just to keep them on a roll of screw ups, they left my radiator cap off.

Now my engine is shot. Gone. Completely. Dad's store has to fix it. The only thing is he had no idea I was even going 5 hours away on a road trip with my best friend. Parts alone are going to cost $2000. Towing will start around $500 for a long distance trip. And the look on dad's face before he kills me... Priceless.
