I've been looking at colleges lately. So the reality is there. In a year I will move off from everything that I've known and that has been familiar and start again.

I live in a city where you can ask any high school student where they are going to college and they immediately respond LSU. I will not be one of them.

LSU is a mini "my town". It's the life I've known for the last 4 years of my life repeated and differentiated only by a different surrounding. I will not be one of them. I will not be another LSU girl. I will not.

I went to Millsaps this past weekend and the weekend before that I went to Rhodes. I'm planning on checking out Sewanee (The U. of the South), Springhill, Wake Forest, Emory, and Davidson maybe.

I am so excited about this next year and at the same time I'm scared to death.
